Cookies Protocol

// digital_trace.log - Maintaining session persistence in the matrix.

1. WHAT ARE FRAGMENTS (COOKIES)?

Cookies are not biscuits here. In this system, they are small data packets stored on your local terminal. They allow us to recognize you when you return from the shadows and keep your connection to the Oracle active without needing to re-authenticate every cycle.

2. ARTIFACT CLASSIFICATION

The system deploys two types of persistence units:

Nuclear (Essential)

Critical for system integrity. They handle your Auth.js session and ensure no one else can hijack your identity. Without them, the Oracle cannot validate you.

Telemetry (Analytics)

Passive sensors that help us understand how the Resistance interacts with the system. All data is anonymized. We don't care who you are, only what truth you seek.

3. EXTERNAL PROTOCOLS

To maintain global infrastructure, we summon allied services:

  • Google Analytics: Used to measure Resistance traffic periodically.
  • Vercel Analytics: Performance monitoring of the deployment at the Edge.

4. OPERATOR CONTROL

You have full control over your terminal. You can purge this data:

  • From your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
  • Using third-party privacy tools.
  • Browsing in 'Incognito Mode' (Ghost Mode).
  • Manually purging local cache.

Warning: Purging essential cookies will destroy your active session and you will have to re-login.

5. CODE UPDATES

This protocol may be patched at any time to adapt to new laws or system upgrades. Stay alert to changelogs.
